Maps - globe filter

Hi We would like to use the spinning globe in the geo-maps feature. However it doesn't seem to show the southern hemisphere, and every time the page refresheses (using Crome) it starts from Europe again. Is there a way to spin it faster or from a different starting point.

Oh and we would also like to use a filter on the geo map to only show certain "tags"

Sorry the spinning of the globe can not be controlled the way you want. The only option you have is to choose a longer refresh time (just add &interval=90 to the URL of you map) so you can see the globe spinning 360 degrees before the refresh.
