I have a backup process over the network which is 1 server flow to a backup server daily, the back up data about 300gb full backup, with speed about 800 mbps / minute over the network.

However in PRTG map not only the source server and backup server that having bandwidth spike until 800mbps, but all the port showing in the switch shown in PRTG having the same spike, same amount and same time, which make the networks latency very high, is that normal?

Thanks YJH

Hello,

thank you very much for using PRTG. May I ask, could you please send us some screenshots showing the issue? Which sensor(s) are you using? Also, is it a switch or maybe a hub here?

best regards.
