Hello,

One of my devices is very frequently (2-3 times in an hour) losing connection to PRTG with error code 2003 ("check firewall, routing, etc..."). after a few seconds the sensors reconnect and the alerts disappear.

iptables turned off.

How do I address that?

2003 disconnect snmp-error#2003

Dear Reshef

The -2003 error is an SNMP timeout error. There is nothing from PRTG's side to avoid the error.

However with 14.3.12 it will be possible to configure a delay until an error causes an alarm. In the section where the scanning interval is defined, the .12 branch of PRTG will allow to delay the alarm to up to 5 scans. (The sensor will go into the warning state first.)
