Toner level in percentage

Votes:

I received successfully the toner level data from my Canon-printer with a SNMP custom sensor, but it won't display the returned data as percentage value in the diagram. In the field Message, the returned value is visible as number (without %). I have two canals "respond time" and "down time" (sorry if these two expressions aren't correct, I have my PRTG set up in german).

How can I display the returned value in percent in a graph?

I already checked this post, but I didn't get it... https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/snmp_custom_string_sensor

I hope you can help me.

Kind regards, Eddie

Hello,

Thank you for using PRTG! If you are indeed using the SNMP String Sensor graphing the value directly won't be possible. Please try using the "normal" SNMP Custom Sensor instead.

best regards

Thanks for your reply. The problem was, that I use the custom string sensor instead of the custom sensor...
