Show device IP on map

Hey There,

Im working on a map view for the datacenter engineers. I would like to give them a special map. is there a list of objects thatc an be used in a map/custom sensor?

One of the things im trying to show is the IP of a device on the map. Is it possible to show the IP address of the device on a map?

Dear Vernon

There is no default map object which shows the IP of the device, but you can insert custom text and use this to manually put the IP (or any other information) on the map.

Another option, though more complex, is the use of a custom sensor with a status message provided by the sensor script and the map object which shows the current status message.
