Why do some sensor need additional credentials?

Votes:

0

We use group managed service accounts for running the probe services on Remote Probe servers. So there is no need for updating passwords to keep companies security policy.

Most sensors work fine, but the sensor "Windows Updates Status" demands additional credentials.

Is there a way to change this behavior?

Hello Steffen,

For this sensor type credentials for Windows systems must be defined for the remote probe device you want to use the sensor on to get access via PowerShell.
