Multiple Object Trigger Notifications for VMware Virtual SOAP

Morning, I am evaluating the software and I am struggling setting a CPU Usage % object trigger to multiple Sensors. I have tried setting it after selecting multiple sensors and then going into the multi edit but it doesn't list the notifications as an option. I have been struggling with this for a few hours. Do you have to set the object triggers individually per VM? Below is a link to what I am referring too.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in PRTG. This is a bit tricky I'm afraid. The best way to achieve this would be:

  • make sure the CPU Usage Channel is the Primary Channel for all VM-Sensors
  • Put all these sensors into a Library
  • Create a Threshold-Trigger on the Library with "When Primary is above 90% for at least ..."

best regards.
