Restore old historical data

Votes:

0

We faced a disaster on our physical PRTG server and we had to make a DR on another Virtual server.

PRTG was reinstalled and server was up again from the beginning of January. The Configuration has been restored successfully.

We now would like to be able to restore our 60GB of historical data (located in \Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor)

I tried to copy dated folders in the PRTG Network Monitor and rebuild data cache but unfortunately we still can't get our data back.

Is their a way to get our one year history back?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

In order to restore your historic data you need to stop your PRTG Core Server Service and copy the monitoring database folder

C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor

Please do also check if this is the path you configured within the PRTG Administrator Tool is pointing to the correct path.

Best regards
