Hello,

it is still possible to Monitore a HP Switch via SNMP to a Remote Core Server?

Whats the best practice for this?

Hi Andreas,

Please create the HP switch as a device on your probe. After that you can run auto discovery, that should give you some sensors (depending on which switch you use). If you are missing something (temperature, CPU load, memory usage...) you can get HPs MIB files for the switch, convert them with our MIB importer (https://www.paessler.com/tools/mibimporter) and create a snmp library sensor (https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/snmp_library_sensor.htm).
