Why EC (windows) is not responding if a server connection times out?

I have 30 servers connected, each of them has the PRTG latest version installed. I made a PRTG Server connection for each one in EC. When all the servers are UP and running, EC works perfectly. But, even if just one server is down, EC will hang for many seconds and will make the gui very unstable. Servers here open and close in a regular basis (net cafe), so this behaviour renders EC unusable. Our network is fast, and it's never really on heavy load. So I wonder if there's a fast timeout option, or if I'm missing something very important.

best regards, venge.

Hello,

If you use the default update interval of 60s to refresh the device trees of all 30 server, this will overload the enterprise console, because because each device-tree must be loaded after 2 seconds. Please increase the the update interval in the Enterprise Console settings to 3 or 5 minutes.
