Hi,

currently I'm testing your software because we want to use it in future to monitor our MES systems. I've seen there is sensor that checks if a service is NOT running but I'm wondering that there seems to be no sensor that checks and warns if a service IS running. Am I'm wrong ? Is there an easy way/sensor which I can use. Anyway, currenty I'm really exited because using PRTG makes so much fun and gives us the chance to monitor our systems easily.

Thanks four your answer. Greetings

PTF.ServiceStatus will do the trick for you.

It returns '4' if a service is running. Using limits you can set the sensor to an error or warning state when the service is running.

Thanks a lot. That's exactly what I need. Didn't know that there are also sensors that I can download, great :-)
