User Access Sensor Outside of Group Policy

Votes:

All,

I need to be able to have one of our customers be able to see a sensor outside of his group limitations.

I know I can go in and customize group, etc. But our system is setup to inherit the Access Rights from the core device. Though this sensor is not with our end user, it is actually with the End User's Upstream Provider.

Is there a way I could allow our end user to see their provider's sensor without breaking the inheritance from the core device?

Have you considered creating a map containing this sensor?

I have not. I will see if this will work, or if my manager has taken this into consideration, and let you know the results. Thank you for offering that suggestion.

I'll keep you updated.
