When you go into the users configuration, please open the tab with the small notebook tab (next to the chat bubble):

User log

You can see which user deactivates the your management user.
Any suspicious entries there? Or ar we talking about a AD user whose account gets locked after a while?

a AD user gets lock. i think the problem is a service that runs on the PRTG machine with that user credentials. the user has changed his password yesterday, i believe this is the issue.

thanks.

Do you have a auto discovery running at 4:00 o'clock? You can check that by going to
Setup > System Administration > Monitoring > Auto Discovery > Run Discovery at.

Is that the case?
