When internet connectivity is down, don't generate alarms for monitored devices

Votes:

When my internet connection breaks, PRTG generates alarms and email's me for every device it monitors. It thinks that all monitored devices are down since it doesn't have internet connectivity.

Is there a way to tell PRTG no to generate alarms for all the devices it monitors, when it detects that internet connectivity is down?

Thanks

If you setup a PING sensor to monitor your internet connection, you can use that sensor as a dependency for your other devices.

Using dependencies, you can pause sensor monitoring based on the status of another sensor to avoid false alarms.

This is possible with dependencies.
Just switch to the settings of an object (Group, Device...) and below Schedules, Dependencies, and Maintenance Window it is possible to choose a specific sensor (the Sensor which monitors the internet) where the other objects depend on.
If the "Inernet Sensor" switches to error, the other sensors will switch to Paused now.
