Ping

Hello,

Is it not possible to ping an IP of my own choosing (not using the WMI sensors)?

We have a few WAN adresses that we need to ping, but we do NOT want to add them as devices in our PRTG.

ping ping-sensor remote-ping

Hi Annfinn,

You can use the StatisticalPingXML Sensor from the PRTG Tools Family to ping a comma separated list.

Copy the file into the default directory

C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\Custom Sensors\EXEXML

and create an EXE/Script Advanced Sensor in PRTG and pass the parameter

-h=website1,website2

Best regards
