How can I monitor datastore latency in ESXi 5.5

I have vCenter 5.5 U2 setup and would like to monitor the individual datastore latencies as separate sensors. Currently I can only see the guest latency if its viewed from the VMware Virtual Machine (SOAP).

Hi Monica,

Currently we don't have a sensor that monitors the datastore of ESXi. The only thing you could look into is the following thread:

Measure disk latency on NFS VMWare

Not sure if that's what you're looking for or if this applies to your environment...

Thanks Stephan, any clues when the reworked vmware sensors will be out?

Hi Monica,

Sorry, I can't give any ETA yet, as Greg mentioned in the other thread.
