you may use my stand-alone external EXE/Script Sensor.

the binary and setup instruction is available on PRTG Tools Family site: tinyTEMPer

the result will look like this:

Hi,

This is not possible with the native sensors of PRTG, sorry. You need to process these results outside of PRTG with a custom script by using the EXE/Script Sensor or EXE/Script Advanced Sensor. For more information regarding custom sensors, please have a look in the documentation of the PRTG API: Setup > PRTG API > Custom Sensors

Best regards

Hi,

I know this is an old thread so not sure if I'll get a response or not. Has tinyTEMPer stopped working for anyone recently? Around 20th of November I started getting "No channel" and "Timeout (code PE018)" errors. I've tried deleting the sensor and re-adding it, but even after setting the "Temperature" channel, when I go back in to edit the sensor to complete the rest of the steps I only have the 2 channels available in the screenshot below.

Details

I've also tried running tinyTEMPer.exe from a command prompt and am seeing this error:

Details

Running Windows 10 v1809 and the latest version of PRTG. If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate them.

Bronze,

One thing worth mentioning, from the PRTG Tools Family site for download tinyTEMPer.

Simple sensor for USB-thermometer TEMPer Gold v1.4 under MS Windows 2003/ 7 x86 (may work on others)

You might try running the application in Compatibility Mode, testing on a Windows 7 VM or workstation if you have one.
