i am trying to monitor my canon printers via the

SNMP Printer BETA Monitors the status of many printers via SNMP.

returns

No response (check: firewalls, routing, snmp settings of device, IPs, SNMP version, community, passwords etc) (SNMP error # -2003)

however a basic SMTP Sensor returns and OK

Both using same strings

canon printer snmp-sensor

Can you please perform a walk on the printer with the OID 1.3.6.1 and post the results here?

Would it be possible for you to perform the walk with our tester so I can use the results in an emulator for testing? https://www.paessler.com/tools/snmptester

Are you running the ireasoning from the PRTG server itself? If not, make sure the PRTG Server has access to the SNMP system on the device.

Please run a wireshark capture with an SNMP capture filter on the PRTG server when you run the SNMP tester and send over the results. If possible, please shut down PRTG when you do this so that the only program sending out SNMP queries is the SNMP tester. When you have the pcap, please submit a ticket with the capture.
