Connecting PRTG for Android to PRTG Version 13

The minimum server requirements for PRTG for Android change periodically. As of the current version, 15.2.1, PRTG for Android requires a PRTG server version 14 or later to connect to. If you’d like to continue connecting to your PRTG 13.x.x server, you will need to remove 15.2.1 and sideload version 15.1.9.

To do this:

  1. Uninstall the current version of the app that you installed from Google Play.
  2. On your device, go to Settings | Security, and enable Allow installation from unknown sources.
  3. In a web browser on your device, download version PRTG for Android 15.1.9.
  4. After it’s downloaded, either click on the notification in the notification tray on your device, or click on "Downloads" from your app list and click on the downloaded APK.
  5. Install the app when prompted.
  6. Go back to Settings | Security and disable Allow installation from unknown sources.

Important note: We do not offer support for PRTG for Android 15.1.9. We strongly recommend that you update your server to enjoy new features and security enhancements in both PRTG and our mobile clients.
