Monitor hanging process

How do i set alarm if a process hang? I can set alarm if the process is not running but if the process or the application hang PRTG still consider it as uptime state.

Hello,

I'm very much afraid PRTG is not able to determine if a monitored Process hangs or runs properly. There might be hints (high CPU load of the process), which you could use for a threshold trigger, or an error-limit, but as said this would be only a 'hint' no proof.
