Can I disable the "Unusual" alert on a specific sensor?

Votes:

0

We found "unusual" alert is useful for detecting the pattern of sensor.

However, some sensors are really no special pattern and we want to disable to detect the "unusual" alert on it individually and reduce the fault alarm.

Anyone can give some hints on it?

Thank you very much!

Hi Daniel,

This can only be turned on/off system wide. You could only remove the unusual notification. If it's inherited, turn off inheritance by switching to Only use the triggers defined below. Note that this doesn't work with library defined notifications as they're always executed.

Best, Stephan

Hi Stephan,

Actually "unusual" is a good design but we need not apply to all sensors and it maybe make mush noise. Anyway thanks for your reply.

Thanks. Daniel

Hello,

since this article was last updated in 2015, is there a change in the possibility to exclude certain sensors / sensor types?

Thanks Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline,

In the meantime, it can be disabled on the device/group level, at the very bottom of the settings tab. Simply untick "Advanced Network Analysis" and it will appear.
