Import of TP-Link MIBs

Votes:

Hello Guys,

I've tried to import the mib's for my TL-SG3210 switch. It seems they have a format which the importer couldn't read.

Could you check this? The mib's I used you find here: http://tp-link.de/support/download/?pcid=204&model=TL-SG3210&version=V2

http://tp-link.de/resources/software/TL-SG3210_V2_140818.zip

Thanks in advance Ingo

Hello Ingo,

I believe the second link you've provided is for the firmware image. The links for the MIB files are:

For TL-SG3210_V2

For TL-SG3210 V2 140515 and Subsequent Versions

Since the MIB is composed from many individual files, please proceed with the following:

  1. Download the correct file that corresponds to your switch.
  2. Un-zip the downloaded file.
  3. Search for *.mib and copy all mib extension files to a same folder.
  4. Execute the Paessler's MIB Importer.
  5. Select (File > Import MIB File)
  6. Select all MIB's within the folder and click 'Open'.

That should allow you to review the OID's that where obtained by the MIB importer. If you're missing anything from the original MIB files, please reply so that we can check it.
