Feature Request - Hide sensor with error status not pause sensor

Hello togehter,

we need to know how long a special sensor is offline. But we done want to get notified every time and we dont want so see a error.

Is there a way to "hide" an error sensor until it is back "OK" again?

This can be done manually by klicking "hide".

Situation:

we are a service provider and we are monitoring some systems which are managed by another company. We only need to know how long a sensor has been offline. We dont need do know the "error status" all the time.

Please let us know if there is something like this available.

Hi Eugen,

You can use PRTG's API to automatically acknowledge alarms of certain sensors. Please have a look at This Article for a step by step guide.
