SNMP system uptime Cisco ASA

Votes:

Hello,

I would like to monitor a Cisco ASA for uptime.

However when I try to use a normal Cisco sensor it is not working. I'm using the correct community string, version and port.

The Cisco ASA is not receiving the SNMP request on the outbound ports.

Dear user

Please use the SNMP Tester to connect to your Cisco device outside of PRTG. Please enter the proper address, SNMP version, and community string. Can you successfully read the Uptime with that tool?

Dear user

This message means that with the address and credentials provided, an SNMP connection cannot be established. Please double check if you use the right IP and port, and if the SNMP version and community string is correct.
