PE002

Hello,

there is a Problem in our Environment with our ESXi-Servers and PRTG.

We were able to configure PRTG-Sensors for VMware Hardware status and it was working fine for 4-5 Months. Now the Sensor keeps saying:

No Response (PE002)

There was no change in our Environment. We did a reboot of the ESXi-Servers, restarted the CIM-Agent but none of those Workarounds work. Are you able to help us?

Hello Zkuld

The PE002 error normally refers to a DNS resolution error.

Do you have other sensors on the device (HTTP, Ping, ...) ?
Do they keep working or do they also fail?

What version of PRTG are you running and what's your scanning interval for the sensors on that host? And when you say servers, do you have many sensors/servers with the same error?

Best Regards,
