Does Remote Probes effects on each other and Core server?

We have PRTG Network Monitor 15.2.17.2804 with a Core Server and a remote Probe both Physical with enough hardware resources. some times the remote probe or local probe goes to Down Status & we have to reset the PRTG Probe Service for fixing. but with resetting the PRTG Probe Service the problem does not be fixed & finally we have to reset the PRTG Core Service too. Some times with resetting a PRTG local Probe Service the PRTG Remote Probe goes to Down Status too. whats the Problem? Does Probes effect on each Other? Why we always have to reset Both PRTG Probe Service & PRTG Core Service to fix the problem?

core-server core-service dependency down local-probe remote-probe remote-probe-service reset

Hi AJamshidi,

We will need to have a look in the log files to investigate this issue. Could you please forward a support bundle Setup > Contact Support and refer to this knowledge base article? Furthermore, please forward the remote probe log file:

"C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Logs (System)\PRTG Probe Log (1).log / PRTG Probe Log (2).log

after you received the case number.

Best regards
