"The Windows on your probe system is too old. Please update to at least Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista(we strongly recommend Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7). (Performance Counter error 0xB0000005)"

We are getting this error on 'cpuloadsesnsor' and 'wmicpuloadsensor'. Untill recently it was working fine but all of a sudden we are receiving this.

if the solution is as described in https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/53253-the-windows-on-your-probe-system-is-too-old, how was this working fine till recently?

Hello,

If the WMI sensors are only using WMI it works, but if WMI fails the sensors are switching using Performance Counters you receive this error message because performance counter are not available. Can you please try choosing "WMI Only" in the "WMI Compatibility Options" for the parent group(s) of the devices on which you experience these issues?
