Feature Request: maintenance window auto acknowledge

Votes:

1

Hi Team,

I was wanting to submit a feature request around the maintenance window feature. Is it possible to add the option when adding the maintenance window to either pause *or* automatically acknowledge any errors ?

I ask this as I am often doing work on plant equipment for the Datacentre which will often cause alarms to go off as they go out of the preset thresholds. Ideally I would like to be able to choose auto ack so the data is still collected during this period but does not send out lots of emails as sensors go up and down. Thus allowing us to see what happened during the maintenance.

This has also been requested internally from other departments also using PRTG for network services etc. Cheers,

Nick

Hi Nick,

There is a workaround, which might be suitable for you: You can follow This Article to create a new notification, which acknowledges errors automatically.

Instead of using the context menu to acknowledge those objects, you can then create a trigger to acknowledge all objects below during your maintenance work.

Nevertheless, let's see if other PRTG users like this idea, feel free to upvote this feature in this thread.

Best regards, Felix
