Geo map only for one Continent

Votes:

We have more then 90 Departments around the world. All Departments have IT hardware which is monitored by PRTG. Location is set on every device. We also use tags like Continent, Country, City (as example: Europe. Germany, Berlin).

Now i want to create different geo maps for every Continent. On every map only the Departments and Devices for this Continent should be view able. So i want to use the tags for filltering object on the geo maps.

Is this possible?

Hello,

Thank you very much for using our PRTG Network Monitoring. Filtering with tags is not possible on GeoMaps. You could look into building normal maps though, then place a Geo-Map on each map, and only assign the device group of a specific location to this Geo Map then (on the normal map).

best regards.

Thank you for your answer.

Is it possible to add more than one device group to a geo map? Otherwise i must change my complete device tree to create such geo maps for each Continent.

In future it would be very nice to use tags for filtering map objects.
