Freezing on Uninstall

I installed PRTG on a server but decided to move it to a dedicated box so I could update/restart whenever I needed to.

I'm trying to remove it from the initial server (which happens to be my file server). It totally freezes the server - a reboot is the only thing that fixes it. It shows "Uninstalling PRTG Network Monitor" but the bar never fills. It cannot be cancelled.

How can I remove this?

This is on a Server 2012 R2 box with ample resources if that helps.

Hi there,

That's unfortunate - have you tried stopping the services manually prior to uninstalling? It should do that automatically, but if the services don't respond, it might timeout. What version of PRTG are you actually using?
