HP 8212 Switch Interface Filters

How do I setup an interface filter for sFlow on an HP 8212 Switch? The interface names are alphanumeric (eg 'A1', 'B13', etc.) not just numbers.

I tried using 'Interface[A1]' but I seem to be getting some quirky results in the information presented in PRTG.

Hello,
we appreciate your inquiry.

Please note that filter rules in Flow Sensors can filter byinterface, however only using the numerical indexes of the interfaces. You can find more information about it here.

Thanks, I had read the filter rules several times and searched the KB, but was unable to find a way to translate "A1" to a purely numeric ID. It might be nice to link the test tools from the filter rules page, unless it's already there and I just missed it.

Also, for anyone else who ends up here, HP primarily uses sFlow. The sFlow test can be found here:
