What account permissions are needed for SNMP sensors?

Hello,

I have windows servers with several local drives, Ive noticed that when i remove the NTFS permissions i cannot monitor those local drive using SNMP sensors.

What are the necessary account permissions are needed for SNMP sensors?

Please advise, Yaron

Dear Mr. Eidelman

SNMP itself (to be more specific, SNMP v1 and v2c) don't need special permissions. The information provided by the SNMP service (or SNMP daemon) depend on its configuration. I am sorry, we have no list which lists every permission setting for any SNMP metric. By default, Windows should either provide information through SNMP or not.
