Very slow remote access

Votes:

1

I have PRTG running on a Windows machine.

I've set it to run on all available IPs, and I have a custom port (8443). SSL is enabled, and set to high security.

When I connect to the server locally (192.168.1.96:8443) it works fine. When I try to connect remotely (https://webaddress.com:8443) it loads very slowly, and will often not load certain aspects of the interface. I have port forwarded in the same way I would for anything else.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

access port remote slow

Hello,

what browser are you using locally and which one remote?

Do you have a pc next to the PRTG server that can connect directly to the IP of the PRTG server without the need of going trough your firewall that does port forwarding?
