Syslog server reporting

I have an licensed copy of PRTG which I'm pleased with however one sensor I would like to see improved is the Syslog Receiver. Currently, in order to produce reports in CSV format from the syslog sensor I have to print the output from Chrome to a PDF, import into Word, search and replace paragraph formatting with a tab and pull that into Excel where I can manipulate the data, which is time consuming and painful. ( Ok, not quite painful, but you catch my drift)

I see that a number of other users would like to see a reporting function and would like to know when you're planning to include such an enhancement. This is important to me as a network analyst, and so much so that I'll have to look for an alternative if it's not scheduled on your wish list for addition in the near future, something I'd rather avoid given the investment we've made in PRTG, associated hardware and time. Could you let me know when we can expect to see a reporting option.

Thank you.

Hello,
we appreciate your contact.

We're aware that there's a desire to be able to export syslog and trap messages received by PRTG but unfortunately there's no official ETA to when this will be available/implemented.

Best Regards,
