how to add a trusted cert-authorothy to ssl certificate sensor

we are using an internal pki for our ssl protected services. unfortunately the ssl sensor statest that our pki is not trusted. so how can i add our pki, so that it is trusted by this sensor?

Hi Andreas,

Did you already try adding the PKI certificate to the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" certificate store of the machine running the PRTG probe?

yes, of course, our pki is listed in the machines trusted root authoroties store.

And this PKI certificate is listed in the Local Machine certificate store (opposed to the User certificate store) right?

Had this issue too. Resolved it by adding the intermediate CA as well as the root CA to Trusted Root Authorities.

Thank you @mtecson. Adding the intermediate cert worked for me as well, even though it is delivered as part of the cert chain by the server. Unfortunate, but at least there's this work-around.
