Bandwidth Monitoring

We have three gateways to the internet and I would like to measure the available bandwidth across each gateway. One gateway is a proxy, the second is the default gateway. I have a 10 meg file on an external web site which I will download periodically. I can use the advanced http sensor to monitor the proxy gateway and 1 of the other gateways but I can't monitor the bandwidth on the third gateway without adding a route to the local probe. Is there way of achieving this.

Thanks

What would cause the traffic to take the route through the third gateway? Or is it simply a gateway for a subnet? If so, the only way would be to add a route...
