Hello guys, I hope someone can assist me as I am new to the tool and SNMP Walk. My mission is to find the OID of a CPU on a Cisco 5515 ASA. I have downloaded the Paessler SNMP Tester 5.2.1 and am trying the walk..... I filled in the local IP/ Device Port/SNMP Version/Community string and tested,"read Device uptime" Paessler SNMP Tester 5.2.1 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (5 ms) : Device: 10.19.0.1 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (8 ms) : SNMP V1 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (10 ms) : Uptime 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (14 ms) : SNMP Datatype: ASN_TIMETICKS 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (17 ms) : ------- 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (19 ms) : DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = 1422314900 ( 164 days ) 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (23 ms) : SNMP Datatype: ASN_NULL 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (26 ms) : HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSystemUptime.0 = NULL2 ( 0 seconds ) 2/10/2016 10:14:23 AM (28 ms) : Done

Now I need to locate the OID of the CPU so that I can monitor it with Solarwinds N-Able Central tool.

Can anyone help me out? What string do i put in to the Walk field to get this info?

Thank you

Hello Tek,

In cases like this your best option is to ask the vendor about the OID for this device, even if you're using Solarwinds :)

Kind regards.
