Hi,

In PRTG there are some checks and sensors made for VMWare. We are using vsphere v6 with VSAN but when there are errors, PRTG doesnt recognized that. We had this morning health issues of some physical disks but we didn't get any notice from PRTG.

Are there plans to develop more sensors for VMWare. Sensors that can see if there are alarms in vcenter for example?

Dear user

Generally, we have plans to offer more detailed VMWare sensors. In which sense do you need to see alarms in your vCenter? Please contact me at [email protected] and refer to this knowledge base entry.

I agree, PRTG should have some way to collect the VMWare vCenter alerts in some way... some things like NIC down is not reflected in PRTG. Only email subscription on the vCenter.
