RDP Sensor Down, but active connections still alive

Votes:

We are experiencing issues with one of our RDP servers. We have approximately 30 users connected through RemoteApp, and about twice/week we'll get 'RDP Down' warnings and then are 50/50 for being able to connect via RDP. Any already active connections stay alive, but nobody new is able to connect. Has anybody else experienced anything like this? It usually fixes itself in 20-30 minutes.

Hi,
What precise sensor type are you using here resp. what sensor is giving the error?
Best regards

The sensor type is "RDP (Remote Desktop)" referenced here: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/rdp_remote_desktop_sensor.

The error is "Not connected (code: PE003).

Thanks!

Hi,
the RDP Sensor only connects to the RDP Port and checks if the same is accessible. Where exactly do you get the error message with the users connected?
