Tons of vCenter PRTG login request logs

I am seeing hundreds of logs coming in from PRTG to our vCenter server from the user account it is configured with, they are coming in every few seconds. Is there currently a fix for this? It seems like it would make more sense to keep an open connection than to log in every few seconds.

We are using the VMware ESX / vCenter Server template for the sensors.

What version of PRTG are you using? The latest ones feature session pooling for the VMWare sensors to take care of the login message floods in the log files...
