Tons of vCenter PRTG login request logs

I am seeing hundreds of logs coming in from PRTG to our vCenter server from the user account it is configured with, they are coming in every few seconds. Is there currently a fix for this? It seems like it would make more sense to keep an open connection than to log in every few seconds.

We are using the VMware ESX / vCenter Server template for the sensors.
