Avarage Value from HTTP Advanced Sensor

Votes:

0

I'm trying to monitor the avarage response time for the HTTP Advanced Sensor. HTTP Sensor interval is currently set 60 seconds, I would like to configure a sensor which checks the avarage value of the last 5 reading of the HTTP sensor. This sensor should also have a threshold trigger.

Is there an easy way to achieve this?

Thanks

Hi Southislander

What is it what you want to achive with the http advanced sensor? bandwith measureing?

If its bandwith: Use the bandwith channel as primary channel, configure the scanning interval to 60seconds, then right there, set it to down after 5 checks if it reached it's limit.

Hi,

I'm afraid that it will not be possible to calculate the average of the last 5 results and create an average channel in PRTG. This could only be achieved outside of PRTG with your own script.

Best regards, Felix
