PRTG and Logical Switch (Brocade)

A config change to a Brocade switch was recently made to add two new logical switches (for a total of 3).

Since the change, the only ports in PRTG that show as 'up' are those still in the native fabric; ports in the two new fabrics are shown as 'down'.

How do I configure the device settings in PRTG to 'see' the ports that reside in the additional logical switches?

I've seen a lot of information referencing SNMP v3 as a solution, but every attempt I've made to configure it results in ALL of the ports showing a 'down' status.

Some other user may be able to share their input to this matter. Please be aware that we've never experimented with Brocade switches with this feature (Virtual Fabrics) but based on the available documentation the vendor uses different SNMP V3 contexts to refer to those virtual/logical switches.

The definition of context as per IETF's RFC5343:

An SNMP context is a collection of management information accessible by an SNMP entity. An item of management information may exist in more than one context and an SNMP entity potentially has access to many contexts [RFC3411]. A context is identified by the snmpEngineID value of the entity hosting the management information (also called a contextEngineID) and a context name that identifies the specific context (also called a contextName).

Please note that even tough PRTG supports the context field, we can't provide set-up instructions for your device. Within PRTG you will be able to monitor your device(s) by entering the correct context under the Device's SNMP Credentials. Please be aware that the SNMP Credentials are a per-device setting, so you'll need to deploy the device multiple times with the same address but different SNMP Credentials/context to monitor all virtual switches.
