Custom EXE Notification

Votes:

Greetings,

I have written a powershell script that is getting executed successfully whenever I am "testing" it from Setup > Account Settings > Notifications > Test from prtgadmin account.

However, I want it to get executed when any sensor goes in "Down" state. Apparently, I am able to find only Email and SMS based notification setup at my PRTG Root "Settings".

Thank you to please help achieving the goal.

If you created the notification and are able to test it successfully, you should find it in the dropdown where the notification trigger is being configured, for example When sensor is Down for 60 seconds perform notification [select_from_dropdown]. This dropdown contains all notifications configured in Setup > Account Settings > Notifications.

Kind regards.
