I configured prtg and used snmp trap sensor. Then I get the trap massages but the problem is can not generate mails. please help me...

Hi Palipera,
My recommendation is to create a notification which triggers immediately (after 0 seconds) if a certain trap matches the error filter in the sensor settings. You can for example configure an email notification and add the placeholders
- %trapmessages
- %traperrors
- %trapwarnings
The best way to see if the configured error conditions work correctly, is to use the Messages Tab of the Trap Receiver Sensor. Enter the condition in the boxes at the top, PRTG will automatically apply the settings and only show messages matching this filter. Finally, you can click on the small gear symbol on the left side next to 'Filter' and copy the correct syntax to the error field of the sensor.
