SSL handshake error

Votes:

0

Hi.

I'm currently seeing the error displayed below:

Last message: Error connecting with SSL. Error connecting with SSL. error:14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure

We've taken a look at the certificates and they're fine.

It seems to be an issue with PRTG.

Regards

Francis

We're going to need some more details:

  • What sensor are you using?
  • Screenshots of the configuration of the sensor

Just so we can replicate the problem here and see what the solution could be.

Hi Stephan.

We're using the HTTP sensor.

There haven't been any problems with it up until recently.

Please see the screenshot below:

What version of PRTG are you using? I've tried it with the latest one and the sensor works with both the HTTP and HTTPS version of the website :)
