Hello,

i´m monitoring the hardware of my ESX server with the ESX hardware sensor. I don´t have any BBU on my controller, so the hardware sensor returns this Error Message:

Error. 1 element returns an error state: Battery 0 on Controller 5003005700F9CC10

The same error do i receive on the vcenter, too. Is there any way to ignore this message to be able to see the hardware state of the oder components?

battery bbu controller hardware raidcontroller vmware vmware-esxi vmware-hardware vmware-monitoring

Dear Daniel

The Host Hardware Status sensor has settings for known errors. Please enter the error message, in your case Battery 0 on Controller 5003005700F9CC10 into that field to ignore this error.
