Deprecated sensor - Microsoft SQL and V2

Votes:

0

We have 4 server with this sensor. We've set it up with a custom script that counted databases with no backup in the last 2 days. We then processed the counted value. To set that up was easy. Now, with this sensor on the list of deprecated sensors, we've turned our attention to the V2 sensor. I don't know who designed this but the V2 is, for me at least, near impossible to set up to do the same thing V1 did.

Please help.

Dear zakpu

With select count(*) you can return the rowcount of the result table. However with the upcoming 16.2.24 release, we are bringing back the rowcount option as an SQL v2 sensor option.

Ty for the reply. I'll wait for the .24 update and see if that'll help me.

Dear zakpu

The 16.2.24 stable perhaps be released next week, but that is not set in stone as we are still testing.
