Cant monitor status of nics in windows

Althought I can monitor the nics on a windows machine/server, it doesnt detect the up/down status of the nic. I have added the nics and can see throughput, when i disable / unplug the nic it still shows green but just with 0 throughput.

HELP!!

The WMI sensor can't do that, the SNMP sensor however can detect those events. However, the ping sensor might be faster for detecting a disconnected NIC (if it's only one) :D
