SQL-File Upload auf Server für SQL v2 Sensoren

Votes:

Hi there

While testing the new SQL v2 Sensors we realized that the concerning sql-files have to be uploaded to the Server that runs PRTG.

Unfortunately not all of our Users implementing Sensors have access to the Filesystem of the PRTG-Server. There are few Admins (Domain-Admins) and some other users (Domain-Users) implementing Sensors to PRTG.

While the Admins have access to the Drives on the Server, the User don't have. Do you plan to implement a possibility to upload Files directly from PRTG in a Future-Release?

Thanks and kind regards

Hi Marcel,

There are no plans to allow the file transfer from the web GUI to the file system of the core server or remote probe, sorry. You could create a network share to this directory with restricted access. This will allow your users to only access this particular folder.

Best regards, Felix
