Sensors not working with Arista Switch.

Hi Team,

I have PRTG 15 running in my office, and we added Arista switches, enabled SNMP with a community string, and we are able to detect the Cisco switch, but not the Arista switches using auto discovery.

If auto doesnt work, how do I go about manually adding?

Please help.

Hello Singh,

Please navigate to the device, right-click on the sensor name and click on the "Add Sensors" button. Here you can filter for SNMP sensors, you can i.e. start with the SNMP Uptime sensor to test if the connection works. If you encounter any error messages, kindly forward a screenshot or copy the error message which is displayed on the overview page of the sensor.

Best regards, Felix
